Principal’s Post
Dear Families,
We completed our first week of school, and Superstars continue to practice the routines and expectations for safety and learning. Students also have been completing assessments, and WIN (What I Need) blocks started for grades 1-3 this week. WIN block is an opportunity for small groups of students to engage in lessons on a variety of subjects- we offer Reading, Writing, Math, Art, Music, PE, and SEL. I’m so proud of how well everyone is adjusting to our new routines and emabracing the learning process! I also appreciate your commitment to reading every night! So far, Superstars have read 466 books! I can’t wait to share the Superstar Reading Log data at the end of the month! Here is the link to log in nightly reading: https://forms.gle/bshU4hcReq2WGJ8r5.
School Picture Day is next week, and paper forms went home with students. Click here to view the flyer and view code to order online.
We had our first PTO meeting this week, and it was an amazing turnout! Copies of the Dollar Fundraiser were sent home.
